What Can The Real Estate Industry Learn From Feng Shui

Purchasing a home is one of the most important investments you will make in your life. It makes good sense to use Feng Shui and make sure you are making a good choice.

So what does a 4000-year-old Chinese system for calculating the quality of environmental energy have to do with property buying in Modern America? What can we gain from this ancient art of placement?

First, it is worth noting that millions of dollars are spent every year by big business around the world to make sure their properties remain sound investments. This practice reaches far beyond traditional superstitions and old world beliefs. This is BIG business.

The list of businesses that have used Feng Shui includes Coca-Cola, HSBC, British Airways, Hiscox Insurance, Hilton Hotels, Marriott Hotels, Trump Hotels, University of Westminster School of Architecture & the Built Environment, the British NHS, and much more.

The Three Hidden Reasons Why Properties Are Difficult to Sell

There are are a number of reasons why a property appears to get “stuck” and difficult to sell. They most common ones are price, location, market, and the effectiveness/ commitment of the realtor.

I would like to educate you about three other essential factors that Feng Shui addresses with great effect.

Geopathic Stress - A naturally occurring phenomena (similar to radon) caused by a distortion in the electromagnetic resonance (8.73Hz) emitting from the earth beneath the building. When the frequency is off, the property will feel strangely off-putting, sometimes cold, and slightly unwelcoming. The severity of the negative feeling can vary from mild and virtually unnoticeable to making you feel dizzy and slightly nauseous. You will often hear clients say something like…

“I liked that house, but there was something about it that didn’t feel quite right… funny I can’t quite put my finger on it”

  • Properties with GS often have a history of “Bad Luck”… ie. poor health, divorce, bankruptcy, flooding, fire and theft.

  • Properties that are slow to sell, if for no other obvious reason, are often Geopathically Stressed.

  • Geopathic Stress is curable….

Ghosts/Spirits/Predecessor Energy - Again a natural occurrence where the previous inhabitants leave a trail of energy imprinted inside the building in their wake. This is very common and affects more properties than you might think.

Feng Shui refers to the residual presence of the many lives that have lived and died in the property as Predecessor Chi.

Emotional attachment - The unwillingness of people to move or change. You will be surprised by how frequent the issue of unresolved emotional connections come into play.

I have a set of questions for a client that quickly and easily reveal whether or not this is the case.
